At the EMO, SCHUNK’s exhibition booth covered a floor space of 340 square metres. Booth visitors were impressed both by the high-quality wood and concrete visuals, as well as by the innovative products. The EMO’s international audience was introduced to magnetic clamping technology for the first time ever. One of the show’s most popular attractions was the "Robobar", where visitors were served drinks of their choice by a robot.

At the SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN trade show in Essen, SCHUNK presented robot accessory modules as solutions in all areas of welding technology. In addition to the new SWS 201-602 electrode holder change system and the flexible gripping system (ASS range) for processing sheet metal, the new KORAMAT CAL 100 handling axis also won great acclaim. A robot application demonstrating robot-guided welding operations and rim handling was one of the main eye-catching products at the show.

Visitors at the MOTEK were very impressed by SCHUNK’s novel exhibition booth concept. The sophisticated design and open product presentation was met with a thoroughly positive response. The audience of specialists was particularly impressed by the presentation of modules in moving exhibits. One attraction of this kind was the fully-automated coffee machine consisting of mechatronic modules. The MOTEK also witnessed the unveiling of two world innovations: the ORG O-ring gripper for external and internal fitting of O-rings, as well as the RSS wireless sensor system.

A combination of the lightweight arm and the SGH flexible gripping hand served to demonstrate new applications in the areas of research & development, laboratory automation, quality assurance and in the future market of service robotics.
The overwhelming traffic at the SCHUNK booths was a clear indicator of the popularity and interest in SCHUNK's latest products and innovations.
