CELSIO Heatshrink Toolholders are made from hot formed tool steel which guarantees a high life span and dimensional stability. With this mounting, the shrinking operation can be repeated any number of times. Even after 1000 shrinking operations, CELSIO heatshrink holders still have a perfect run-out and a high clamping force.
The maximum temperatures of between approx. 290°C and 340°C occurring during clamping are much lower than the temperatures which could cause a microstructural change with this hot formed tool steel.
