Four hoses with the same diameter are mounted to a passenger car filter. To avoid errors during manual assembly, the hoses should be color-coded.
The coding is done via color-marked rings, which is checked by a color sensor before provision and then separated. The rings are provided to the robot for each hose connecting piece and stuck on by the 2-finger parallel gripper. The fitter can now see without a doubt which hose belongs to which connecting piece on the filter. After assembly, the color markings are removed again.
